Organizational Levels
Safe Sport is NOT one-size-fits-all. Each level of competitive sport and participatory sport requires a customized approach to education, programming, and complaint management. We have the expertise and experience to provide support and guidance from the Olympic-level to the youngest sport participants at your local community centre.
National Sports Organizations
The Safe Sport movement has been on the fast track, but our National Sports Organizations need more support to keep up! We’ve been champions of this movement from the very start and know there will always be gaps between the ideal and the reality. Culture is at the heart of it all, and we’re here to help you implement the Universal Code of Conduct and Safe Sport practices that truly elevate your sport. Our approach connects with athletes because we understand their experiences, respects the new guidelines, and brings the spirit of Safe Sport to life!
Our NSO Clients
Provincial & Territorial Sports Organizations
Safe Sport started at the national level, but many provincial and territorial governing bodies are charting their own paths in this important movement. While National Sport Organizations lend a helping hand, every level of sport deserves its own unique support! From crafting policies and practices to developing programs, we’re the experts ready to guide you and your members as we tackle this new era of Safe Sport together. Plus, we share top-notch best practices for seamless coordination from national to provincial and territorial organizations!
Our PTSO Clients
Club
Safe Sport is a shared responsibility, and no organization should sit back and rely on others to keep their participants safe! Many of our clubs are run by dedicated volunteers who often juggle limited time and budgets. It’s important to recognize the big differences between national-level athletes and coaches and those at the grassroots level. That’s why our programs—ranging from education to dispute challenges—are customized for each sport and tailored to meet the unique needs of your organization and its participants. Remember, Safe Sport is NOT one-size-fits-all!
Our Governing Agency Clients
University & College
Often overlooked in the Safe Sport movement, university and college athletics are among the most vulnerable environments for maltreatment. Student-athletes are navigating huge life changes while balancing their sport commitments. Plus, educational institutions operate quite differently from non-profit sports organizations. With our deep understanding of these unique settings, we know how to respect those differences, collaborate with all stakeholders, and craft a Safe Sport approach that fits seamlessly into the landscape—protecting all sport participants along the way!

Recreation
Sport does not just happen on the national stage; the vast majority of sport happens within recreational facilities, at day camps, and in participatory environments without any formal competition. This is the magic of sport, yet it comes with its own perils regarding maltreatment and abuse. Often, there is uncertainty about “who is responsible”, and little guidance has been provided to date on what Safe Sport means to recreational sport. We are here to help. We can provide you with a starting point, offer expertise on the “must haves”, and ultimately support you and your participant families with comfort around your commitment and practices in creating a safe, welcoming environment for every participant under your charge.
Our Strategic Partners
We are proud to team up with organizations and companies that share our commitment to safe sport. Our partners are carefully chosen based on their alignment with our core values, their expertise, and their trauma-informed approach. Just like in sports, it takes a strong team to drive cultural change, and every referral we make to our clients proudly carries the Generation Safe stamp of approval. Together, we're transforming the game for the better!
